The Board of Abbey Tours is made up of five directors each with an average of 25 years experience in our industry. What makes the company that little bit more unique is the fact that each director is actively involved in the business on a daily basis, through their different executive functions.

Jane Magnier |
|
Jane has been with Abbey Tours for a total of 30 years, and during her career has gained extensive experience in all aspects of the planning and operation of our business. Jane's overall responsibility is for the Group Travel Division of the company, which she manages with a team of 35 people. In recognition of her contribution to the Tourism Industry, Jane was recently appointed to the Board of Dublin Tourism and is also past President of the Irish Tour Operators Association. In April 2008, Jane assumed the position of Joint Managing Director together with her colleague Marina Finn. |

Brian McColgan |

A founder member of the company Brian Mc Colgan is the Chairman Abbey Tours. For over 30 years Brian's career has been in the Irish Tourism Industry, beginning with the Ryan Tourist Group where he held management positions in both Dublin and New York. Over the years he has played a key role in building the company's customer base and has also played an important role in the promotion of Irish Tourism. Brian's contribution to the industry includes: In April 2011, Brian joined the newly established Tourism Recovery Taskforce, a Partnership Taskforce between the State agencies and industry partners to look at industry challenges. |

Patricia McColgan |

Patricia joined Abbey Tours in 1982, the same time as her good friend and colleague Jane Magnier. Having initially managed our Individual Travel Department, Patricia was responsible for setting up the Conference Division of Abbey Tours, which she continues to manage. During her time as Conference Director Patricia has been responsible for overseeing the planning and successful operation of over 60 International conferences in Ireland. |

Marina Finn |

Since joining Abbey Tours in 1989, Marina held a number of management positions within the company before being appointed Marketing Director in 1994. Working closely with our market teams, Marina has overall responsibility for co-ordinating all promotional and sales activities. Along with her marketing role Marina also holds responsibility for negotiating Abbey Tours contracts with our key suppliers in Ireland. In April 2008, Marina assumed the position of Joint Managing Director together with her colleague Jane Magnier. |

John Healy |

Formerly CEO of O’Mara Travel's inbound division, John Healy joined the Board of Abbey Tours in 2007. John possesses a wide range of experience within the industry. He is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a former President of the Irish Tour Operators Association (now serving on the ITOA Executive). He currently chairs the Incentive Working Group of the Business Tourism Forum and is an executive member of the Irish Tourist Industry Confederation, a Director of the Northern Ireland Tourist Industry Confederation, and a member of Tourism Marketing Partnership. In April 2011, John was appointed as Chairman of ITIC - Irish Tourist Industry Confederation. |
