Abbey Ireland & UK announced as Scotland’s Heritage International Tour Operator of the Year

Abbey Ireland & UK has been named International Tour Operator of the Year by Scotland's Heritage for the second time. The award recognises the efforts of Abbey Ireland & UK in supporting the Scottish visitor attraction sector, and is voted on by the 25 partners of Scotland’s Heritage who represent over 800 visitor attractions across Scotland.

Rebecca Brooks, UK Managing Director, commented ‘We are thrilled to receive this award. At Abbey, we are committed to promoting the wonderful range of visitor attractions and experiences that Scotland has to offer, and we are delighted to have been recognised by Scotland’s visitor sector itself for the second time.’

The Tour Operator Awards were created in 2013 to acknowledge the role that the travel trade plays in promoting Scotland’s Heritage’s partners and visitor attractions, and in securing forward business for this sector. The award will be officially presented to Abbey Ireland & UK at Visit Scotland Expo 2018.
